Not only is it a new year, but also a new decade! I don’t know about you but this time has flown and I’m sure it’s only 10 years since the year 2000! This is certainly a time for reflection on the past, what has changed, what has stayed the same and what you want for the future. One thing hasn’t changed – I loved looking after customers then and still do now! Thank you for all your support in the last 6 months and giving me the continued opportunity to continue doing what I love. Without you, Other Music wouldn’t be here!

I know I’ve been promising it for a month or two now but I’m so excited to announce that’s the Studio 19 Rental Plan is now available through the Other Music Website!! Just in time for back to school. Phew!
Make sure the equipment is right for you. You can return at any time after 6 months.

Every student needs a stand to practice with. It’s just not the same putting your music on the coffee table and hunching over! My old clarinet teacher would be horrified at that posture!! These are a great value stand which comes complete with carry bag at only $30 (normally $34.95)

OK – So I admit I’m a theory nerd and used to love doing theory papers! If you don’t get as excited as I do about this, then this series of books might be just what you need. They make theory fun! On special now!
The Zo instruments are the latest in the range of plastic brass instruments and they are incredible. The technology has come so far and they play extremely well. Why not add a second instrument to your arsenal and give trumpet a go! They might call it screamin green but I call it Other Music Green!! (There are plenty of other cool colours available too)
I am so excited to be a part of this show again! I think it’s the fourth time I’m getting my rock chick on!
Brainchild of successful RMT partnership between Lachy Stewart (local musician and guitar teacher) and Madeleine Johns (RMT president and director) TURN UP YOUR RADIO – named after the iconic Masters Apprentice’s 1970 hit – is an Aussie Rock show with all the great hits from Jimmy Barnes, John Farnham, INXS, Bee Gees, Daddy Cool, The Zoot, Johnny O’Keefe and more… A splash of Aussie humour rounds out this unique cabaret show. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the Australia Day long weekend.
Enjoy a glass of wine or a beer and a cheese platter while you watch the show. There is a bar and snack service.
Performances are 24th and 25th January 2020 at 7.30pm
