Restless was written for the Red Stick Quartet in 2001 and has been featured at the Midwest Band Clinic. A challenge for better quartets from high school to professional level, Restless is a wonderful piece to open or close a program. “The outer sections are filled with a jazz-influenced rhythmic and harmonic language, while the middle section offers great lyricism.
