March 2021 Newsletter

Where has the year gone?  It seems that New Years was only a week or so ago!  The cooler weather has arrived and also brought a lot of rain to many areas of Qld & NSW.  Our thoughts are with all our affected Other Music customers and trust you remain safe and dry.

It’s been a very busy start to the year for Other Music and we are very pleased to see and assist so many new students as they begin their musical journey.  Such an exciting time and we hope, for many, it becomes a life-long passion as it has for us.

International Women’s Day 2021

This month we celebrate International Women’s Day so a big shout out to all the amazing women in the music industry, and beyond.  On a personal level, I have three amazing sisters, a wonderful mother and have incredibly fond memories of my grandmother who was way ahead of her time.  She would have loved being a part of this celebration, particularly as purple was her favourite colour!

Life Is A Cabaret

A celebration of the golden age of Jazz, Life Is A Cabaret features songs from some of the greatest crooners and divas of all time including Frank Sinatra, Liza Minelli, Etta James, with a few surprises thrown in.

Performed by a live six-piece band of professional musicians, each of the iconic songs featured in Life of a Cabaret has been specifically arranged to suit the vocalist, ensuring our audience enjoys the very best our performers have to offer. 

Reminiscent of a time of a vibrant culture dominated by legendary music that has stood the test of time, Life is a Cabaret is show not to be missed.
